Dr. Baban is medical director of the MedGlobal mission in Lebanon. In this episode, we discuss medical NGO work in Lebanon and the Middle East, especially in light of the recent crises in the region and after the Beirut blast. We discuss the importance of sustainability and empowering local communities of people and healthcare workers to deliver preventative healthcare services in the areas they servce.
