from IndieQuest - An Indie Game Podcast · host IndieQuest
Send us Fan MailOn this episode of IndieQuest, a podcast all about the wonderful word of indie video games, we bring an in depth review of what could possibly be 2023's biggest indie game, SEA OF STARS!From the Store description... "Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by the classics. It tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who will combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer."This game was kickstarted in March of 2020, gaining funding in just under 7 hours. It's set in the same universe as Sabotage Studio's previous title, The Messenger, but in a different era and in an entirely different gameplay style. We've been looking forward to this game for quite some time, so we thought it was only right to bring our friend Burgerchamp along for the ride. We talk about everything... from all the intricacies of the gameplay, to the beautiful art design, to the various mini games (WHEELS!), where it falls on the quest log, and more (A LOT more)... then we round out the show with spoilers (which start at 1:29:00). We hope you enjoy the show! ...and yes, Garl is best boy.---------------------------------------------Leave us questions, comments, concerns, or feedback of any kind at our email [email protected] or follow us on BlueSky @indiequestpod!Send us emails with topics, questions, suggestions, or indie game recommendations at [email protected]!If you want to see the Quest Log go to indiequestpod.com!
