In Episode 68, we sit down with Jenn Jevertson, Assistant Director of Student Wellness at SFPS, along with inspiring student leaders from the WAVE Leadership Council — Stacy Vigil and Yoselin Galdamez-Menjivar.Together, we dive into what WAVE (Wellness, Awareness, Voice, and Empowerment) is all about and how students from middle school through high school can get involved in creating safer, healthier campuses.We talk about real issues impacting students today — suicide prevention, gun violence prevention, substance abuse, bullying, and improving overall mental health.
