Episode #69-Advent Week 4

This week’s episode wraps up our Advent study and leads us right into Christmas, and it was such a meaningful and heartfelt time together. We lit the love candle and the Christ candle, reminding ourselves that the entire Christmas story is rooted in God’s love and fulfilled in Jesus Himself. We talked about what it truly means to prepare our hearts, not just our homes, and to pause in the middle of the busyness to remember why we celebrate at all. This episode is full of reflection, Scripture, laughter, and that familiar Bible Thumpers warmth that feels like sitting around the table together as Christmas draws near.As always, real life showed up in the best way, including a hilarious interruption from Cassandra’s husband who had no idea we were recording and gave us all a good laugh. We missed April so much tonight, and while she couldn’t be with us, she had bigger things going on and could truly use everyone’s prayers right now.
