In this episode Randel and Owen talk with Sifu Brian Kuttel about Choy Li Fut and Yang Taiji training, practice and teaching. From his website: "Brian Kuttel began training in Choy Li Fut Kung Fu and Yang Tai Chi in 2000 with Sifu Hamayun Ahmadzai at Tiger Kung Fu Academy (currently Zai Martial Arts Academy) in Reno, Nevada. Brian became an instructor in 2004 teaching children’s classes and beginner classes, and eventually earned his black sash in 2006. In 2008 Brian moved to San Francisco, California, to study with world renowned martial arts Grandmaster and president of the Plum Blossom International Federation, Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong, and his son, Tai Sifu Jason J. Wong, a top international competitor and sought out instructor. Brian also began working as Program Director of the Doc-Fai Wong Martial Arts Center and a full-time instructor. Through the guidance of Tai Sifu Jason Wong and mentorship of Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong, Brian earned his Black Fringe Level in 2012.
