Having broken free as a newly found solo artist Simone Owens is taking her goals and vision of a music career to the next level. This week she joins the podcast to discuss the local music scene in Philadelphia and what her live performances have been like now that things are picking back up. She also talks about recording the live version of her hit single “Black King” and how it was a learning experience that she has taken many notes on. Simone’s soulful and genuine energy exudes as she reflects on her upbringing and the current state of the path to where she is currently in life.
