Episode 69: You Are Created To Express God

(II Corinth 4:7; John 3:16) It is the ultimate plan and desire of God that His children express Him and reflect Him in all things. Man is created in the image of God. Man is created to express God. The original and intended plan of God is for man to be like Him as learnt in Gen 1:8 The MSG translation states “God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature...”” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:26-28‬ ‭MSG‬‬ However sin, through the first Adam, came and paused God’s plan for man. Glory to God! He came as a man - Jesus, to reconcile us back to Him. By accepting the finished work of Christ on the cross, man regains his supernatural ability, the power, the dynamics, the dunamis to express God and also be expressive like God. I love the way Witness Lee says it in one of his teachings- “just as a glove is made in the image of a hand to contain a hand, so also man is made in the image of God to contain God.” When a man receives God as his content, he supernaturally will be able to express God. If you have accepted Christ’s death and resurrection for your salvation- congratulations! God dwells in you. You contain God. Walk in your destined God’s purpose by expressing and reflecting Him in all things, by the help of the Holy Spirit. Let’s Pray Father I thank You for the priceless privilege to be carrier of Your presence Help me to be conscious of this truth so that Your beauty and power can reflect through me, in Jesus’ name.
