Years of Service: 1993-PresentDave began his law enforcement career with the Butte County Sheriff’s Office in 1993. In 1995, he began working as a deputy at the Camas County Sheriff’s Office. In 2001, he was elected as the Sheriff of the Camas County Sheriff’s Office where he is still working. Camas County covers nearly 1,068 square miles and has a population of nearly 1200 people. The Camas County Sheriff’s Office has a total of three deputies which makes Sheriff Sanders a working sheriff who answers 911 calls and works patrol just like any other deputy.
