Episode 7: Ephesus: Love Lost, Life Promised - Revelation 2:1-7

In late 2017, as I began studying for this series, my wife walked through the room and I said to her, "I would love to go to these cities (the 7 cities of Asia) and see the places and get a feel of the times and people before I present these lessons." She replied, "Why don't you?" That set me on a quest. In April 2018 I flew to Izmir, Turkey, rented a car and drove to the seven cities on a self-guided tour. I speak no Turkish, had never been to this country and had no guide and even got lost a couple of times. It was a wonderful experience. The people in Turkey were friendly and hospitiable. I never felt in danger or unwelcomed. I hope that my experience enhances these lessons. I utilized video clips that I made on the trip during the lessons and even though you can only hear and not see the videos I think it will still give you a sense of the places.
