Episode 7: "Hellacious Noise"

This week Mike and Shane discuss civil discourse with their guest, photo-journalist, musician, and Interim Director of the Virginia Folklife Program Pat Jarrett. It's important to know how to talk to people when capturing the still frames of their lives, and Pat also shares his insights and experiences in his work in covering white supremacy. Also, Pat shares a look into his musical pandemic passion project, heavy metal band "Heemeyer." Check our our Social media pages for photos and the link to his fun portion submission.
