Episode 7 - Preserving the Faith

Someone once said, “Christianity is one generation away from extinction.” One of the great heartbreaks of life is to see children walk away from the faith of their parents. While we can’t control the decisions of others, we can choose to invest in the life of our children and grand-children. Moses taught the fathers in his day, “And these words…shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently to thy children.”Moses would have shared these words with the heads of the tribes, who would have shared them with the fathers of the families, who would have shared them with the children. Those fathers of the households were responsible to share God’s truth in their home. Take time each day to read the Bible and pray together; preserving the faith to the next generation.
