Fresh off the 'Bye', Melbourne head into Round 3 coming up against the reigning Premiers, the 4-peat Panthers in what is the first time the two teams havemet since last year's Grand Final. Penrith coming off a shock loss to an understrength Roosters outfit will be keen to atone their Round 2 performance and will certainly lift and raise the intensity and effort for the Grand Final rematch. Storm have their own motivation which needs no explanation, but it will not reverse the heartache and disappointment of last year's missed opportunity, but will be a chance to exorcise some demons whilst getting the all important two premiership points.
