John Magowan oversaw a special era from 1996 to 2001, where a simple taster session blossomed into a Wednesday night staple at Drumahoe—so popular that it often carried a waiting list.John reflects on the creative energy of the group, from the challenge of "three props in a box" to the confidence built through three annual performances. He also shares his personal perspective on the power of the arts, including his unique tradition of the "imaginary bag", where members left their worries at the door.
