In this episode, Lorraine speaks with fellow Certified B Corp Business owner Carolina Miranda. Carolina is the Founder and CEO of Cultivating Capital, where she works with small businesses to implement sustainable business practices and often to receive their B Corp Certification. As a B Corp Consultant, Carolina has helped businesses achieve B Corp certification, to increase their impact and score with recertification, and to develop action plans for team engagement. In 2021, she was one of three U.S. participants in a pilot program run by B Lab to train external verifiers and received extensive training from B Lab in order to perform certification verifications independently. She was awarded the 2020 Community Builders award from B Lab for her contributions to the community.
