This podcast is intended for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice.Tamera Schmidt is a speaker, leadership strategist, and transformational coach whose work explores what happens when high-functioning people continue performing externally while being fundamentally changed internally by grief, caregiving, uncertainty, reinvention, leadership pressure, or profound life transition. Her signature body of work, The During: Functioning While Being Changed From the Inside, focuses on the often invisible middle of transformation: the season where people are still leading, caregiving, supporting others, and meeting expectations while privately navigating identity shifts, emotional strain, and sustained uncertainty. With a background spanning customer-facing leadership, transformational change, facilitation, and coaching, Tamera brings a neuroscience-informed and deeply human perspective to conversations about resilience, trust, adaptation, emotional endurance, and the hidden cost of competence.Rather than offering polished “after” stories, her work creates space for more honest conversations about what it means to remain functional while life is actively rewriting you underneath the surface.Tamera is the founder of Enlightened Coach, where she works with organizations, leaders, and teams on transformational leadership, communication, and sustainable human performance.Connect with Tamera:[email protected]
