Episode 70 - Malibu Moon

This week for Episode 70 Brooke and Corbin welcome Blake, Gawain, Tanner, and Brendan, four of the five members of Malibu Moon. Based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Malibu Moon is an up and coming band that plays music beautifully described as "surf rock for landlocked people". To kick off the conversation Corbin and Brooke ask their experiences in meeting each other, and how the Malibu Moon we know today came to be. Shortly after, they share how the horn line turned into a part of one of their songs, and a couple of their live shows. Your two hosts picks their brain on what their creative process has looked like as they have been developing their current discography, and more music moving forward. After reflecting on some of the experiences they have had so far, Brooke and Corbin ask the band to dive into their side of putting together and releasing their first official E.P., Big Shoes.
