Episode 70 "Road House" Review

This week on "Streaming Without A Paddle" Andrew and Ted sit down to discuss, as always spoiler free, their thoughts on director Doug Liman's adaptation of the 1989 hit ... "Road House". This adaptation stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Dalton as well as MMA superstar Conor McGregor (Knox), Daniela Melchoir (Ellie), Billy Magnussen (Ben) and Jessica Williams (Frankie). Set in the modern day Florida Keys a bar owner Frankie faces physical threats from spoiled boy Ben to turn over her generational owned bar so that he can develop a resort on the Key / Island. Her reluctancy to do has her seeking out protection ... in comes Dalton to offer her and her establishment a barrier to entry. Ben's incarcerated father is tired of this delay and brings in Irish tough man Knox (McGregor) to scare off Dalton. The trouble is ... Dalton isn't capable of being scared so the mother of bar brawls ensues. So tune into the show to find out Andrew and Ted's thoughts.
