Episode 71 - Delta State
from Cartoon Night in Canada Hosted by Chris Luciantonio
We are back! After a sojourn into a parallel dimension of fragmented memories that left it impossible for us to record a podcast, Chris and Sylvie have returned for a CNIC Detour episode on one of the most mature and striking series we will ever cover. A complex, sci-fi, paranoia thriller about four twenty-something amnesiacs who hold the fate of all humanity in their blasé hands and another existential plane that can alter our world irrevocably. It's heavy, it's a lot, it's beautifully rotoscoped and designed, it's Delta State. Episode covered is Episode 1 "First Contact (Part One)." Directed by Pascal David & Giles Cazaux, written by Vincent Bonjour, and created by Douglas Gayeton. Original airdate September 11th, 2004.
