One of those quintessential things that's become a part of every movie nerd on the internet's career is doing their top 10 best and worst ofs for the end of the year. Despite the tremendous negative effects that Covid-19 had on the industry, Hollywood did what it always does and continued trucking on, putting more of an emphasis on streaming than ever before, and still providing for some incredible pieces of cinema. The movies this year seemed determined to explore what it is we love about movies and storytelling, while also unearthing some uncomfortable truths about real life and asking some extremely existential questions about why we're here.
