We discussed the New Year’s Day re-air of Luke Spencer’s final episode, which was not an actual tribute, but a 2015 re-air from when Anthony Geary left the show. It was promoted like a farewell, but we’re hoping a proper tribute honoring his decades-long legacy is still coming. Lulu and Nathan talked about Maxie and why a coma return isn’t the same as coming back from the dead. Carly and Valentin shared a moment about Charlotte, with Valentin grateful to be treated like a person and father. Curtis and Jordan discussed their future and slept together. Cody surprised Molly at work on New Year’s Eve, they spent the night together, and were caught off guard by Felicia and James — leading to James asking if Molly was Cody’s girlfriend, with Cody saying yes and Molly saying no at the same time. Alexis shifted Willow’s defense strategy, Kristina reacted, Sonny warned Michael, and Scout told Willow that Danny had been at Alexis’s house. Laura learned from Charlotte that Sidwell approached her and Ace, and Tracy met Jacinda and was kinder than expected.
