But it was hilariously working on the Highway To Hell tour in 1979 with AC/DC that Barry converted to Christianity, ushering in a new immersive phase of his life. HIs book Sex, God, and Rock 'n Roll is a wonderful collection of essays based on the “random magic and mystery of life”, recently riffed upon by comedian Pete Holmes in his Netflix special I Am Not For Everyone (2023).
