For the first episode back, your host Kelly “K-Fresh” Frazier talks to Ann Arbor, Michigan-based electronic music producer Tadd Mullinix. Under his hip-hop project alias Dabrye, he recently released his new album Three/Three on Ghostly International, the final installment of his album trilogy which started in 2001 with One/Three and is the first Dabrye full-length since 2006’s Two/Three. On this episode, we talk about the history of the Dabrye moniker along with how he was able to wade the waters of an experimental hip-hop sound that he was an early influencer of.
