Episode 72 - Jay B

With an undeniable west coast spirit and energy surrounding his style the Inglewood producer known as Jay B brought a sample of what he has to offer the music world to our show this week! With family ties to his cousin Hit-Boy and his father Rodney Benford of the R&B group Troop Jay decided to take music seriously following the passing of a close friend whom he shared a mutual interest for the craft. He describes the process it’s taken him to land tracks with artists like Audio Push, Benny The Butcher and Quentin Miller over the last three years. Balancing family life with a job and pursuing a music career on top of it all Jay is seeking to find peace and be able to provide for himself and his loved ones with what he’s passionate about.
