Episode 72: Mrs. Marquez - My 1st Grade Teacher 🍎🤍   In this episode, I have a guest that is very near and dear to my heart - my first grade teacher, Mrs. Marquez! 🍎 With National Teacher Appreciation Week coming up in early May, this felt like the perfect time to reflect on just how much teachers shape us during such an important growth stage of our lives 🤍   After 30 years of teaching, Mrs. Marquez shares what she’s learned, the moments that have stayed with her.   We talk about our own memories together… the funny moments, the classroom activities, my friends, singing songs in choir, and … even my baking soda volcano project I did later in elementary school  🤓🌋🧪(which feels very fitting now 😄)   Also, Mrs. Marquez got to see Episode 40 at Kīlauea! 🌋 So we reflect on that too and share our experience and awe of our beautiful volcano.
