Episode 73: Rick Mitchell

This week on the True North Racing Podcast Megan and Jon are back with a new episode with this weeks guest Rick Mitchell. Rick who drives the #73 Pure Stock at Flamboro Speedway.  We talked to Rick about where'd his interest in racing come from, getting his first start, racing Pure Stocks + So much more. Before bringing Rick in Jon and Megan talked about their weekends. Megan spoke about the emotions her and her family were feeling watching their dad be competitive out front of the pack. Realizing that first place got disqualified and inherited the win. Jon made a comment after hearing about one of the Canadian Vintage Modified drivers Mike Podd being injured at the track Saturday night wishing Mike a speedy recovery. Jon also spoke about format changes coming to the show that will take effect come October. September 3rd the Canadian Vintage Modifieds will be doing a backpack giveaway at Flamboro Speedway.
