Today Erin and Melissa chat with Stephanie Vigil! After 25 years of anchoring local TV news, Stephanie Vigil grew tired of reporting negative stories. The weight of the bad news was wearing her down. That’s when she decided to take a sabbatical to see for herself that there’s more good, then bad, in this world. With 3 months to explore, she found herself inside the Balboa Activity Center in San Diego where her new found love of pickleball changed her perspective on life. Pickleballers, of all ages, were so friendly and welcoming, eager to teach her, and others, how to play this fast paced game. After every session she’d walked away with a sense of belonging, and that she wasn’t the only one. She discovered that it’s not money, nor material possessions that lead to a Very Good Life, it's the connection with others that matter the most.
