Episode 74: Choices Impact Others- Constructively Or Destructively

from Detox with Abi · host Abimbola Arawande

(Corinthians 10:24-31; 1 John 4:12) The decision we make, whether little or massive, will affect or influence others in a positive way or a negative way. So we should not ...”always seek what is best for” ourselves “at the expense of another.” — ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:24‬ ‭TPT‬‬ There is need to weigh decisions before making them. It is vital to weigh opportunities before accepting them. As God’s children - our decisions, choices or resolutions should be anchored on pleasing, honouring and making God proud whether we eat or drink, or whatever we do, we should do all to the glory of God. “Therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭10:31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The more we love God by pleasing Him in all things, the more we will be flooded with grace and wisdom to love one another. This will lead us into giving consideration to the impact our choice or decision will have on other people. “No one has seen God at any time. But if we love one another [with unselfish concern], God abides in us, and His love [the love that is His essence abides in us and] is completed and perfected in us.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭AMP‬‬ Remember, our choice impact others - constructively or destructively.
