This week the STT crew talks to Dr. Monica Mallampalli is the executive director of the Alliance of Sleep Apnea Partners (ASAP), a nonprofit patient-oriented organization dedicated to advocating for optimal health of those suffering with sleep apnea and ensuring sleep apnea is a national priority. She is also the President/Founder of the Institute of Women’s Health Strategies providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership in women’s health. For over a decade, Dr. Mallampalli has been advocating for the advancement of women’s health from a sex and gender lens within the areas of chronic diseases, clinical trials, drug development, and personalized medicine. She has co-authored many publications, reports and op-eds, and has been interviewed in the media on several occasions.
