Episode 74: WAR ETHICS

from The Painter's Dialectic · host Josh Green

Dear Spiritual Friends,Topic: Exploring War EthicsTime: March 8th 2026, 12-2 pm EasternThis Sunday, I will be exploring the ethics of war with philosopher Dylan Ngan. War is one of the most challenging subjects in ethics and spirituality. How do we preserve human dignity in the most inhumane of human activities? Can a war ever be just? Is there a context or vocabulary to critique what is happening in the world? We will look at the extremes of Political Realism and Pacifism, and the possible middle path of Just War Theory and its counter arguments. As always, our space is open to all sincere seekers and no artistic skill is needed. Also feel free to invite friends. All donations for this month's group event will go toward establishing the IHS Collection at the Weinberg Memorial Library at the University of Scranton. This collection is an effort to preserve esoteric wisdom for future generations.
