MIDDLE AGE MOVIE REVIEWSEPISODE 75 - Duck Soup(Woo Hoo 75 Episodes)Hot Dog!  75 episodes of regular reviewing. What better way to mark the milestone than to review the 75th film on the list of 1001 movies to watch before you die.   So the guys have come together to discuss the Marx Brothers film Duck Soup.  Directed by Leo McCarey, starring all four Marx Brothers.  The guys talk about the first time they viewed this film and wouldn't you know it they all agree that this is the first time. So here they go looking at it with modern fresh eyes. The guys talk about the similarities with the classic Looney Toons and 40's cartoons. Matt channels a 1930's film reel to give us the synopsis like a war correspondent on a news report. Joey holds his tongue over some of the film, but does point out the political satire that really hasn't aged in this film or within society. Tim talks a little about the infamous mirror gag in the film and how each of the Marx Brothers had to know everyone's lines and performances in the movie. Find out this and more in this episode of Middle Age Movie Reviews.  Don't forget to like and subscribe wherever you listen to this show.Email our show at [email protected] Age Movie Reviews is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 Theme Song Eddies Twister provided by Open Music Archive.Org which is an open source public domain music.
