Every so often an album lands in our inbox that we can't help but get behind and talk about and that's exactly what happened when Sydney's Igloo Zoo handed us a copy of Light|Sound|Dimensions which is a prog/metalcore lover's wet dream. The band consists of one man, Shawn Mayer, who is the mastermind behind the idea and sound which can best be described as Devin Townsend meets Architects and Northlane. The album (LSD for short) is just that, a musical adventure exploring what an acid trip is like with the highs and lows from start to end. An interesting concept which we had to discuss in detail with Shawn who co-hosts this week's podcast and fills us all in on how he came up with the idea and how he intends to make this project unlike anything else you've ever seen in a live setting before.
