Weeks later, a local man named John Farley stumbled into the police station, pale and shaking. He claimed he’d seen Fisher’s ghost sitting on a fence by the creek, silently pointing toward a paddock down the road. When police searched the spot, they found Fisher’s body buried exactly where the ghost had indicated.
