Episode 75: Interview with Jay Jennings

Even if you don’t recognize the name Jay Jennings, there’s a fairly good chance you’ve heard him play trumpet with either of his current bands, Snarky Puppy or backing up Toby Keith, or with any number of acts he’s performed with in the past from James Taylor and Jon Bon Jovi to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. Jay has been fortunate to play in several genres of music, especially right now touring with Snarky Puppy which is a funk/jazz oriented group and simultaneously working in the horn section with country superstar Toby Keith.
