For six and a half years Dr. Marshall Stewart, Vice Chancellor for Extension & Engagement and Chief Engagement Officer for UM System, has boldly led the land-grant mission of the University of Missouri. He envisioned a 21st century model for extension and engagement, and he mobilized talents, resources, and research across the state to make the vision a reality. On December 9th, Dr. Stewart announced he has accepted a position at Kansas State University and will be leaving the University of Missouri at the end of January. Missouri Training Institute's Bryana Larimer had an opportunity to chat with Dr. Stewart last month.
