EPISODE 75: THE NOISE NEXT DOOR
from A RICH COMIC LIFE PODCAST · host Richard Gill
In this episode, I talk to two members – Tom Livingstone and Robin Hatcher - of the hilarious comedy sketch group, The Noise Next Door. The Noise Next Door is the UK’s premier improvised comedy ensemble who have been performing together since 2005. The current line up comprises of Livingstone, Hatcher, Matt Grant, and Sam Pacelli. Charlie Granville has also been a member as has Tom Houghton who left in 2016 to go solo. Each show is different and is made up of taking suggestions from the audience on any topic, and then acting out scenarios and stories made up on the spot with hilarious characters and situations. It has proved to be a winning and thoroughly entertaining formula. I have seen The Noise Next Door perform many times over the years including at the Underbelly Festival on the Southbank in London and the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015, Leicester Square Theatre, London and the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016, Always Be Comedy in Kennington, London and the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017, the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018 and 2019, The Old Firestation, Carlisle in 2020, and The Brighton Open Air Theatre plus the Underbelly Festival, Cavendish Square in London in 2021.
