Episode 76: Comic-Con Conquered

Long days, little sleep, pop culture overload, and yes, lots of video games. San Diego Comic-Con is an event like no other and we were back at Comic-Con 2014 to take it all in. This episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast is dedicated to our hands-on impressions of the biggest games Nintendo brought to the show: Super Smash Bros. for both Wii U and 3DS, Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Yoshi’s Woolly World, and both versions of Sonic Boom. We also share our thoughts on the event as a whole, as well as go beyond the walls of the San Diego Convention Center to bring you the latest news, including fresh Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire details, our take on Nintendo’s unexpected all-digital Club Nintendo rewards, and an analysis of June’s sales numbers. Our Comic-Con coverage isn’t all talk, either. We’re also hosting a Comic-Con exclusive Super Smash Bros. shirt giveaway! The shirt (pictured below) not only features the Smash Bros. insignia on the front and the game’s logo on the back, but is also branded with a “Comic-Con Exclusive” emblem on its sleeve.
