Coulter Jacob's is a highly influential independent artist in Los Angeles who hasn't quit his day job. He's worked for the Department of Water and Power in Los Angeles for over 20 years, intentionally has no website, rarely takes commissions or sells his paintings. "I've just never wanted to live the life of a starving artist". He's a disciplined practitioner of the creative process who believes in the gift of mentorship (he was mentored by tattoo icon Bob Roberts) and now empathizes for his own mental health and sanity on a daily basis.
