The 13th Doctor, starting with the 2017 Christmas episode will be played by Jodie Whitaker (Broadchurch) and will be the first woman to play the iconic role. Heather takes on the online trolls who are outraged by this turn of events…of a fictional time-traveling alien. D23 recently showed some behind-the-scenes footage of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which is opening in December 2017. They also released some amazing posters of the film’s main cast of characters that are absolutely breathtaking.
