Episode 76: Hormone Literacy, Women's Health and Learning to SYNC - with Jenny Swisher

from Empowered in Health · host Erin Trier

On today's episode of The Momlife Mindset Podcast - I had the honor of interviewing Jenny Swisher. Jenny is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutritionist, Integrative Health Practitioner and the creator of the SYNC digital course. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to women's health and hormone health. The depth of the information she shares in our podcast interview is SO important for every woman to hear. When it comes to our inside out wellness - learning to pay attention to our cycles and our hormones play a massive role in how we feel as women. The reality is, women are complex beings. We have fluctuating hormones that change drastically month to month. Bringing more awareness to what this means, what's happening inside our bodies and how we can tailor our health efforts to work WITH our hormones (rather than against them) can be the missing piece for many when it comes to truly stepping into our healthiest selves. In our interview, Jenny shares more of her personal story, her ongoing struggles with migraines and her infertility journey. She speaks about the days when she owned a gym, trained men and women and noticed the differences. She shares deeply about the tests in her life that finally brought her to digging deeper on her own health. She knew that learning more about her hormones and the functional side of medicine were imperative if she was going to get answers and identify the potential root cause to her symptoms and health hurdles. Her own journey sparked a passion that led Jenny to where she is today. An extremely dedicated woman - determined to empower women to step into being the best advocate for their health. Out of her passion stemmed the creation of the SYNC digital course - a step by step guide to learning hormone literacy (everything we NEVER learned in health classes from the good old days), how to work with a functional practitioner and diving into root cause issues/potential hormone imbalances, how to eat and train alongside your monthly cycle and so much more. It has been an honor to connect with Jenny, take her course and get certified as a SYNC certified coach and I can't wait to work alongside her and many others as we continue to bring this knowledge to more and more women. If you're interested in learning more about SYNC and how to take the course (as we share at the end of the podcast) - I encourage you to take this FREE HORMONE QUIZ and get set-up for receiving more SYNC information: https://jennyswisher.idevaffiliate.com/145-2.html To connect further with Jenny: Instagram: Jenny Swisher Facebook: Jenny Swisher I'd love to hear from you and connect further on our stories.
