In layman's terms this means the body isn't capable of maintaining proper blood pressure when standing. Michaela discovered Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on the interwebs and thought it may be a good method of getting exercise, since most of the activity is conducted on the ground. Michaela has transitioned from drilling at home, to drilling with a partner, to taking full lessons at a BJJ gym. Our conversation runs the gamut, from BJJ and how she got into it to punk rock and if free will even exists.
