Episode # 76 Parenting is a Calling! with guest speaker Toni McFadden

You are in for such a treat today, because I have Toni McFadden back on the show to be our guest speaker. Toni is a mom of 4, author of the newly released book, “Redeemed: My Journey After Abortion”, internationally known pro-life speaker, and I am honored to call her friend! When Toni and I get a chance to talk life out, its absolutely life giving. She has a way of building up my confidence, as a parent, and helps build my faith! You are going to get both of those overflowing into your buckets, on today’s episode! We speak on different threads that weave together as being a parent. It is a struggle some days! Toni often speaks about the Pro-life movement but her passion goes beyond teaching, equipping, and empowering expecting parents. She has a deep desire to help others in their relationships outside of the womb, too! That’s why I can’t wait for you all to listen to us dive deep into topics that can relate to anyone parenting in some capacity! Some take aways from this episode are: Parenting is NOT perfect! (and no parent is perfect) Have the uncomfortable conversations, even if they give you the eye roll, they will remember your words! Encourage yourself to be involved with a faith infused community to lift you up and to help build your faith when it feels like the ground beneath you has given out! Boundaries are a safety net for everyone and are important! Remember, God loves our kids more than we do! Live by faith, even when life’s messy or the temperature of our culture says differently! It is not an accident that you are called to be a parent or being in this capacity to parent your children, grandchild, niece, or adopted child. Through Toni’s story and encouraging words, rings hope and truth for us all! She reminds us that no one, is too far out of God’s reach and that He can redeem it all for His glory!
