(Genesis 16) After many episodes, the crew leaves Genesis 15 behind and begins a new journey in Chapter 16. There is often more going on in the text of the Bible than what is immediately apparent, and other times it’s actually less complicated than you think. It’s tempting to read our own culture and customs into the text, but it’s important to remember that the Bible was written in a different place and time.
