I sat down with our old friend and Silencer Central founder/CEO Brandon Maddox at the recent Safari Club International show in Nashville. Brandon shares some of his recent adventures wolf hunting in negative 20 degree weather in Ontario. Imagine freezing your butt off for 12 hours straight, not eating anything or even taking a leak because you’re afraid even the slightest movement will give you away. Sounds wonderful, right? We also get into his recent safari to Zimbabwe where he targeted mega fauna predators such as lions, leopard and brown hyena. Those photos never made it to social media for obvious reasons, but he was more than happy to discuss his successes and failures on that trip. Including a very close call with one pissed off male lion. After a quick necropsy of the lion, however, Brandon admits he might need a new PH. We wrap things up by discussing the latest from Silencer Central: the new Speed 9mm. A 3D printed suppressor specifically designed for your 9mm. He also sheds light on a little bit of a rebrand with the Banish line and the parent company Silencer Central.
