Episode 77: Committing to Education is Essential for Success with Tom Sheehy

We had the opportunity to sit down with Tom Sheehy of Crystal Clear Custom Pools which is located in Waxahachie, TX. Tom credits getting educated as to the main reason he has been able to be successful. Like many out there, he stumbled around for the first 3-4 years learning by trial and error which can be very time consuming and costly. Tom discusses how plugging into different associations and taking the time to attend classes gave him the confidence he needed to gain and retain customers.  Tom is the current president of both the North Texas PHTA Chapter and the Waxahachie IPSSA chapter. He also serves on the PHTA National Builders Council and was previously the Vice president of the Southwest Pool and Spa Show. We also discuss this year’s show and Tom shares how attending the trade show helped changed his business and how the education he gained was invaluable. He still remembers a class he took from the first year he attended!
