Nature Notes: Last Friday we awoke to dense fog which was not an auspicious beginning to our Snowy Owl Expedition.   We made it to the Emiquon Wetland Preserve and saw quite a few American Bald Eagles. We also saw Snow Geese! There were thousands of them flying in ribbons as far as we could see down the waterway. Funky and Aizome did see Snowy Owls in Minnesota! I have not given up yet and there is always next year.
