You are now living in a halcyon time when your home entertainment choices are almost limitless, and the sheer quality of programming is consistently staggering. Yes friends, we are in Peak TV at this very moment - and we ain’t mad at it. The phenomenon dates back to at least the 1990s and TV has since evolved into something almost beyond TV.  New-era showrunners are taking more risks in narrative, tone and style because few are beholden to traditional ratings or advertisers anymore.  Which is great for all us viewers!
