Episode 78 - Wedding Planning - Parris Balazs

Parris Balazs is a wedding planner based in Chapin, SC serving the midlands of South Carolina. Parris Claytor Balazs is the Founder, creative director, and lead planner of Eventfully Chic by Parris.  She discovered her niche in event planning beginning in her younger years and went on to obtain a four-year degree in psychology.  After graduating college, she entered into the world of marketing where she was able to couple her admiration for the psychology field and her aspirations for professional event planning. Leading up to planning weddings, Parris gained years of experience directing various events for nearly a decade as the marketing director of a multi-state law firm including charitable functions, large corporate events, black-tie affairs, and other special occasions. Parris became her own first client when she said “YES!” to her fiancé in 2018.  In true Parris fashion, she moved swiftly, becoming a Certified Wedding and Event Planner and securing all of her own wedding vendors within the first month of being newly engaged. Because of Parris' diligent work throughout 2019, she was awarded "Best Wedding Planner" in the 2020 Free Times Best of Columbia and Post & Courier campaigns.   In 2021, she was a Wedding Wire Couples' Choice Awards winner and was also the 2021 Best of Columbia winner for "Best Wedding Planner" in the Columbia Living Magazine.  For 2022, she was nominated as "Best Wedding Planner" in the Columbia Metropolitan Magazine and is also a 2022 WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards winner in the wedding planner category.
