Episode 79 - Dynamite Kid vs Tiger Mask (Madison Square Garden, New York - July 29, 1983)

In addition to that, Jim and Tariq talk about things which were way ahead of their time when growing up and Tariq again recounts his admiration for Teddy Ruxpin, while Jim talks about playing an online game for the first time ever in 1999. This week’s match is something so far ahead of its time that it could have headlined any show today, some 40 years after it actually took place. Not only did Dynamite Kid and Tiger Mask steal the show, they set the standard for what a 5 star junior heavyweight match should look like.  This match is what ever match should aspire to be except for the commentary, Vince McMahon was absolutely horrific in the booth.  We recommend that you watch this match with Japanese commentary even if you don't speak Japanese!   This match is a must watch for absolutely any and every wrestling fan.
