Today on Eating Matters we will be talking all about the need to shift the current food system model, lessons we can learn from other sectors like energy, transportation and water already engaged in modernizing their systems, and how institutional food procurement is one of the most effective intervention points to do so. Joining us to do so is Paula Daniels. Paula is Co-founder and Chair of the Center for Good Food Purchasing, a social enterprise non-profit founded in July of 2015 as a national spin off from the Los Angeles Food Policy Council, which she founded in 2011.
