Cheyenne and I discuss her experiences as an artist manager, the importance of an artist and manager working as a team, examples of successful teams in today's music industry, using one's personal brand to pursue other endeavors, and more. Cheyenne Chaves is the founder/owner of the music management company, Chey Management. Her passion for music and business inevitably led to managing talented artists such as Justin Sky and Mavryck. Cheyenne received a BA in communication with a focus in PR and advertising from California State University, Los Angeles. In addition to running her music management company, she currently works for Atlantic Records as a studio manager and A&R assistant.
